Cynthia S. Anderson, MD

Radiation Oncologist Co-Founder of Pink Ribbon Symposium Cynthia Anderson grew up in Jacksonville, FL. After attending the University of Chicago she moved to Philadelphia to attend graduate school to prepare for medical school. It was there that she met Dr. Marissa Weiss, a radiation oncologist and founder of Living Beyond Breast Cancer. She began working at LBBC and was inspired by both Dr. Weiss and her ability to educate and empower patients beyond their diagnosis. Dr. Anderson trained at Emory University for both medical school and residency in Radiation Oncology. Returning to Jacksonville several years ago, she joined the Florida Radiation Oncology Group. She is co-founder of the Pink Ribbon Symposium.
